Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school receives many students that are new to the country and don't speak or understand English. If they speak Spanish, I can have other students translate for me but then they might miss something because they would be translating. However, this translation device will enable me to communicate with these students and also allow the students to communicate with their teachers and classmates without me relying of my other students to help with the translation.

I am hoping with this device, Non-English speaking students will learn and understand English much faster than before.

The Sour Grapes book with be great to add to our social emotional library that will help students learn how to deal with not holding grudges.

Please help my students and myself be able to communicate with each other better and help the students with learning and understanding.
