My Students

Our school community consists of a diverse student body, varying in race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and academic needs. They seek to be successful and achieve success with the engagement of caring teachers and support systems throughout the school community.

These young artists are eager to create!

Our students have been without art instruction for the past few school years. They and their families are excited to experience the power of creativity in the classroom!

My Project

The art materials requested are the most basic and essential materials for art making. Students will use these materials to study drawing, painting and mixed media techniques, as they explore the elements of art, art history and art creation. The drawing and sculpting materials will be used by students across all elementary grades for a variety of hands on art experiences throughout the school year. As we will begin the 2019-2020 school year with a new art program, these basic materials are essential for our students to have a fresh start and positive art experience!
