In my sixth year of teaching art, this is my third year teaching within Indianapolis Public Schools. Our students have made some incredible artistic accomplishments over the past three years! This academic year is an opportunity for continued growth. As a pilot school for the Arts Integration Initiative, our students now employ the arts to gain and demonstrate understanding across all content areas. The concepts and skills we develop in the art room serve as foundation to the exceptional work students create throughout their academic experiences.
