My Students

My awesome students attend a 12:1:1 classroom. We are a small self-contained class. My students are unique learners and have varying abilities. My students receive special education services for speech & language impairments, Autism and Learning Disabilities. My students are visual and hands on learners and being away from school is very challenging for them. They are very used to routines and activities that support specific learning styles and needs. At this time, I am using online learning platforms and see my students each day through Google Meet.

My Project

I am requesting materials to support my students during distance learning to ensure no barriers in case of non-working technology or not enough technology to go around the home during this time. I am requesting a gift card from teacherspayteachers.com. This is a website of digital and printable resources I can use during remote learning. I would be able to use the digital resources during my live instruction when I split the screen.

I am requesting copy paper, printer ink, envelopes and some postage so that I can print and mail my students' work that they can keep up to pace regardless of any barriers or challenges.

I would also be able to print colorful rich resources for my students who do not have a printer.
