Comically Learning! Part 2

My Students

My students are vibrant young learners deserving of the best education possible. I teach at a Title I school where the majority of students come from low-income, single-parent homes. Over 80% of students are on free or reduced-price lunches. Each of my students has the potential to do great things in life.

My goal is to provide my students with all the tools they need to be career-ready and life-long learners while exhibiting the 3 Ls: Love, Laughter, and Learning!

I want my students to walk into my classroom every day with the expectation that this day will be even better than the day before. I want to open up their minds to the gigantic world outside of our tiny community.

My Project

The books from this project will help my students learn all about Science in a fun and excited way. My students have been begging me to get Science Comics all year. They are obsessed with these books. I currently have a few in my classroom library and we don't have any in our school library. My students need these books in their hands.

With Science Comic books, my students will see that I value their reading interests and that I'm doing everything I can to help them have the books they love to read.

My students already show an interest in reading and these books will help foster that love. With your help, my classroom library will become an exciting place for my students to visit. These books fit in perfectly with our Science curriculum and my students want to enrich our daily studies with these books. How cool is that?
