My Students
Each year, I am blessed with an amazing group of children, whom I learn from daily. They come in each morning with so much to share with the class and me. They are full of life and want to share that with everyone around them. At the beginning of the school year, my students enter second grade as shy first graders. However, when they leave for third grade they are strong, confident, and determined. Being part of this process is what makes teaching so beautiful.
My Project
I'm asking for a set series books written as comics. My students have this new interest in comic books. I'm asking for comic books for my classroom to help engage all readers. I am also asking for a new series that I recently found. The main characters are boys and many of my readers that struggle to stay interested in books are boys. I think that they will be able to connect to the main characters in more ways that one. I am also asking for other series that are missing from my current classroom library. Thank you for helping!
