This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm a teacher of 12 TK students in the working class city of Norwalk, California. Most students are from low income families and are eager to learn to read.

I love watching my 4 & 5 year old students "pretend read" to themselves and peers and they would enjoy doing this in comfort.

Right now they are sitting on hard plastic chairs. This comfortable seating will be used throughout the classroom as needed. These seats will also be used for students who need to take a break and chill for awhile.
