My Students

My students are a great group of 7-8 year olds. We have a healthy mix of boys and girls that are on a variety of different learning levels and abilities.

One of the priorities of a second grade classroom is to learn how to work together in cooperative groups and have opportunities to share and speak in a safe and comfortable environment.

As a teacher I want to provide my students an area where they can communicate and work as a group.

My Project

I am requesting the Extra-Wide Comfy Couch to use in my classroom to provide students with a comfortable place to read in my classroom library.

It is so much easier and more enjoyable to read a book in a comfortable chair.

I'm pretty sure that is scientific fact. Our classroom doesn't have a whole lot of comfortable spots for my students to sit. I want to change that, so I need your help!

This cozy couch will offer students a place to share books with one another, or read on their own. Students can also use this place to complete work or just go to have some quiet time before returning to their seat.

There are so many useful purposes for this comfy couch!
