I am the library teacher at PS 165 Q. I see most of the classes in our school, grades Pre-K through 6th grade.During my lunch time and circulation times I encourage children to come to the library to read books. I want to foster good reading habits in a comfortable, safe environment. I would like a Comfy Reading Nook so the children will be comfortable and enjoy coming to the library to read, It would enhance the reading lives of many children for many years to come. You can help leaders of the future get comfortable with reading, literally! The sofas and chairs selected are the perfect size for the elementary child. The bright colors are attractive and stimulating. The soft surface is inviting so the children will want to come to the library and read.
