This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a lively bunch. They are insatiable learners! My students have two favorite pastimes. The first is read aloud time at the carpet. They love to sit close so they can listen to the story and see the amazing illustrations in our picture books. Their second favorite thing to do is ask questions. We will sit at the carpet and start a conversation and every new question starts a new conversation. They like to think they are "tricking me" into going off topic, but what they don't know is that I believe that this is when our greatest, most engaging learning happens.
