Comfy Carpet Time

Help me give my students a comfy place to sit when we have circle time! They all need their own space on a beautiful new carpet to listen and learn.

My Students

We are from a small town in upstate South Carolina, called Clemson. It's the home of an amazing University (and football team!). Many of my students have parents or other family members that work for Clemson University.

We have a very diverse population of students.

Our class alone represents six nationalities. We celebrate our uniqueness and learn from each other. My students are high achievers. Many of them are reading above grade level, and excelling! They love to be challenged, and they love to learn in new and engaging ways.

My Project

In first grade, we spend a lot of time moving and learning in the classroom. Some of our time is spent on our carpet when we have circle time. We listen to stories, have calendar time, and do other whole group activities during circle time.

My students need a new, colorful, comfy carpet to enhance our circle time.

They need a carpet with large spaces so they can each have their own personal space.

I also like the carpet because I can use the different colors for grouping students. This item will freshen up our room, and offer a lot of different options for use.
