This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These comfy floor seats will allow for flexible seating in my classroom. Some students do not work well sitting in a traditional chair and desk. The floor seats will allow them to choose a quiet place in the room to sit on the floor and will give them "wiggle room." My students will be able to arrange their seats on the floor to work independently, with a partner, or in a small group.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve student motivation and engagement, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
