Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In kindergartens, the children have wonderful and diverse strengths and needs. To address and support the diversity of skills in our classroom, we often work with students in a personalized way.

For example, the children who may need certain supports in phonics or early computation skills will have their own special personalized lessons.

These lessons take place in one center of the classroom while other students work on activities designed just for them. These seats would allow students to smoothly transition from one activity to the next without having to carry a clunky chair across the room. They are comfortable and colorful, which will keep our classroom a very happy place!
