My Project

My students need to move. Most of my students struggle with concentration during reading and math instruction. Several struggle with ADD/ADHD. These yoga ball stools allow movement in all directions without distracting others. Being able to move during instruction and independent work time will help my students focus during reading and math instruction. The light covers and lamps will enhance concentration throughout the school day by easing eye strain.

My students are energetic, enthusiastic, and excited to learn.

They come from diverse backgrounds: some are English Language Learners and most families struggle with poverty as all my students receive free lunch. I teach 3rd grade in an urban, Title I school.
