Help me give my students the opportunity to work comfortably in small groups. A kidney table would allow me to have a designated space in our classroom for small group work in all subject areas.
I teach an enthusiastic group of kindergarteners. For many of my students, it is there first year in school full time. As a way to push my students and support all learning needs, I pull small groups in all subjects. A kidney table would allow for my students working in a small group to sit comfortably with me while working on desired skills.
A kidney table would help my small groups become more engaged in their work because they will have a special table to work instead of being cramped at a circle table or on the floor.
The seats selected will help my students to sit more comfortably while in small groups.
