My Project

My special education classroom has many students of various needs and abilities. Many of my students require various sensory inputs in order to have a successful day. Having seating options will allow them to meet their needs while they complete classroom work and learn throughout their day. By giving my students a classroom rug, seat cushions, and stools they will be able to choose their work areas that are comfortable for them.

Giving my students these seating options will give them the ability to choose what works best for them, while promoting independence and autonomy.

I am beyond excited to help my students build their independence while they are working.
