This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we prepare to enter our third year building and utilizing our school garden, it is now time to bring a focus to making the school garden space comfortable.

Students use our school garden for agriculture, social-emotional learning, and for community building - the garden should offer a comfortable, welcoming space for all students.

We are ready to expand our space with more seating, another picnic table, and umbrellas for shade. We truly appreciate the support from this community that continues to help build our welcoming, inclusive space within our school garden.
