My Project
Having a clean organized place to sit and learn while working as a whole group can be vital to classroom community. Since we are an ICT class, we tend to be broken up into two groups. There are twotsachers in this classroom, one special education teacher and one general education teacher. Having two smaller carpets in our classroom can help with small group work and building community.
Students love coming into a classroom and seeing a bright, colorful, comfortable place to sit and work together.
A carpet is just that.
I love how these carpets have smiley faces to help the students spread out and have their own space while working as a whole group, but also have enough room to spread out to work independently, in partners or in small groups.
There’s something about walking into a classroom and seeing the inviting classroom carpet and making you feel at home and relax ready to learn and move on with your day.
