Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Creating the best environment for learning encompasses both comfort and organization. Without organization, students are unable to become independent learners. When everything has a place, the environment really becomes the third teacher in the classroom. The baskets will help create a space where everything has a place.

Adult and student seating that is able to be mobile and comfortable is a must for learning in a preschool classroom.

Having seating on the floor helps students and adults to be at the same level which is optimal for learning. We want to create a space that is comfortable and organized for our preschool classroom to make students feel independent and safe in the school environment.
