My Students

In a Title I school, on the 100 West Hall( 11th graders) of the building our students work so so hard to overcome any challenges they face outside the classroom because we are in the business to get them ready for their senior year.

They're dedicated students who don't always have easy access to learning tools and needs.

We want all of our students to succeed, so we make sure they have access to the instruction and tools they require; in addition, to those snacks that can fuel them throughout the day. We genuinely care about them and strive to be a positive influence in their lives.

We characterize our students with some of these adjectives: Outgoing, amazing, Cheerful, Hilarious, Determined, Smart, Sweet, Energetic, Smiley, Promising, Shy, Easygoing, Curious and Friendly!

My Project

Our comfort care bins were developed to assist our school's students with any self-care products they may require; especially our 11th graders on 100 West in the building. Students have access to personal hygiene goods such as toothbrushes, deodorants, personal hygiene kits, toothpaste, and snacks in these bins. Our goal with the comfort care bins to maintain a constant supply of things so that our scholars can access them whenever a need arises. The goods in these bins are freely available to our scholars. Students can request materials with the assurance that confidentiality protocols will be followed.

There is comfort in knowing that our students can access things they need.

There is always a need, and to meet that need, we would like to supply our comfort Care bins with food products in addition to personal care supplies.
