Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students face a variety of challenges every day, from academic pressures to personal struggles. To support their emotional well-being and help them develop important coping skills, we are creating a new calming room at our school—a safe space where students can go to destress, regroup, and regain focus. A key component of this space is a comfortable, inviting area where students can relax and feel at ease. That’s where the Comfort Nugget Couch comes in.

The Comfort Nugget Couch will provide students with a soft, supportive place to sit, lay down, or even build their own cozy fort when they need a break.

This couch is not just a piece of furniture—it’s an essential tool to help students reset and find peace in moments of anxiety, stress, or overwhelm. With its durable, child-friendly design and adaptable shape, it can be reconfigured to suit different needs, making it the perfect addition to our calming room.

With your support, we can create a space where students are empowered to manage their emotions and return to the classroom feeling calm, focused, and ready to learn. Your donation will directly contribute to making this vision a reality, ensuring that our students have access to a safe and supportive environment when they need it most.
