My Project

Hello,

My students live in a village with one small, severely understocked store and zero after-school employment opportunities.

I like to hand out snacks that they earn and provide a classroom where they can feel valued because they are.

The snacks and relationship-building help promote positive classroom interactions, and most do really well as a result. Numerous students have asked for snacks to take home since they don’t have any there, and I would like to provide them with some, as well as throw blankets and cocoa, to foster that feeling of warmth. Thank you for valuing my students as much as I do.
