My students are eager to learn and enjoy being at school. I would love to include more flexible seating arrangements for my students so that they feel safe and comfortable when it comes to being in the classroom.
When students feel safe, learning is possible.
I pride myself on being able to provide a safe and comforting atmosphere for my students and I feel that adding flexible seating options to my classroom will help me achieve that goal! I hope to add the purple couch to my student library for students to sit at during the day. I would like to replace my chairs with comfy, fun stools and seating cushions for my tables. I would also like to add a rectangular table so that my students can have more writing space when on the floor. This table will allow me to adjust it to the lowest position for floor cushions.
The lighting options I would love to have would allow for soft lighting to help promote a calm atmosphere.
