COVID-19 took away a lot of freedom in the classroom. Small groups, centers, and shared materials were not allowed due to the COVID-19 protocols. Help bring excitement and engagement to my small group by adding the Genius Osmo Kit. This kit provides hands on learning and includes: Osmo Words allows students to use letter tiles to practice building words and spelling words. Osmo Numbers allows students to use number tiles to practice counting, adding, connecting, and multiplying. Osmo Tangram is a puzzle game that students can play using colorful shape pieces. There are different levels of difficulty and the goal is to create the shapes on the Osmo. Osmo Masterpiece allows students to supercharge their drawing skills. Osmo Newton is a creative problem-solving and physics game. Bringing small group centers back will allow for hands-on practice and positive social engagement to help fill gaps that were made during the pandemic. I know that my students will benefit from the Osmo kit for many years to come. Hands-on learning and small group instruction is crucial in the learning process and positive student engagement.
