it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’m reaching out to ask for your support in bringing comfort and joy to my students through a large classroom rug and a selection of engaging books. These simple items will make a world of difference in our learning environment. A soft, welcoming rug gives us a central space to come together for lessons, discussions, and story time — a place where learning feels like home. New books will spark curiosity, build confidence, and nurture a love of reading that can last a lifetime.
My students are truly special.
Each one comes from a low-income household, and many face challenges outside the classroom that no child should have to experience. Yet, every day they show up with heart, resilience, and a hunger to learn. They deserve a space that reflects their value — one that’s warm, inviting, and filled with opportunities to grow.
Our goal is to create a classroom that fosters connection, focus, and a love for learning. With your help, we can make our classroom not just a place to learn, but a place to belong.
