Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In kindergarten my students are learning so many things. Letter names and sounds, how to read and write, math, and science. They are beginning their lifelong education. Sometimes, because they are 5 and just starting out in school they have accidents. Or they forget their gloves when it's cold at recess.

At my school kindergarten is in a whole different building, if a child has an accident and doesn't have an extra change of clothes, we have to stop what we are doing and find someone to take them on the long trek to another building where the office is to track down new clothes (which in their size is hard to come by) or call home, which can be inconvienent for parents who have jobs or other commitments.

Please help me give my students comfort and warmth if accidents happen.
