My Project

The landscape of educational technology is always changing. As a computer science teacher, I strive to keep up with the best practices and trends. After attending the Future of Educational Technology Conference, I learned about a product that would help me to take my coding curriculum to the next level with my students...drones! Drones are learning tool that engages the students and will help improve their computer science. I plan to have my students work collaboratively to code drones to perform a variety of learning tasks that integrate reading, math and science skills. Drone pilots are a career of the future for students and this could be the first step in igniting their interest and imagination. Our school is a Title I school and we are always seeking ways to give our students the best opportunities in STEM-related learning activities.
