My Students

I work with a diverse group of learners ranging in academic ability, socio-economic backgrounds, and needs. They are sweet and energetic and ready to learn every day. They accept challenges, learn from mistakes and certainly make me smile.

Our school community is made up of families from diverse backgrounds which bring fun and exciting cultures to our school.

At our school we expect high student achievement and spend lots of time on whole brain learning and teaching. We know how important it is to make learning fun.

My Project

My active little students need to move around. We need a bright, new fire resistant carpet for our classroom that will allow them the flexibility to move when needed.

Our classroom community thrives, when we come together as one group of learners!

We meet daily starting with morning meeting on our carpet area. It is here that we learn not only academics but about each other which creates a positive environment for learning.

We read stories, collaborate, have fun with technology, write stories, play games, dance and sing. We all love to be comfortable in our own environment. Children need comfort at school too. A new clean carpet will help to our classroom feel welcoming.
