Help me give my students and the entire grade the benefit of science and language arts books as we begin a new school year. Each student will have their personal copy to highlight and record their thinking.
As a fifth-grade team, we will create individual study books for our new Wit & Wisdom curriculum. We will comb-bind their texts so they can clearly identify the units of study. In addition, they will highlight their thinking throughout the units of study as we use the paper to create their books. The sticky chart paper will help students do "graffiti wall" group discussion work within our new language arts curriculum.
Clarity will increase as we provide students with comb-blinded science packets for each standard we teach.
Our project will not only replace needed items such as headphones for a quieter learning environment, but also introduce white boards that will significantly boost student engagement as they share their thoughts with each other.
The card stock will help students show their artistic talents as they create calendars for their families.
The step ladder and vacuum will be used to improve the safety and cleanliness of the learning environment.
