This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The beginning of the school year is always full of many feelings, activities, procedures, and getting to know our students. To help them feel safe and loved from day one I enjoy seeing how my students express themselves through the art.
Half of my students, unfortunately, do not come with many materials.
I would like them to feel included by having a classroom community bin with these materials from the start of the year. To show them that they are important I would like to see their work displayed with the magnetic hooks, so that it is a daily reminder that they belong in this classroom.
