This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
"A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning." by Brad Henry
I am currently a 3rd grade Exceptional Education Teacher within a collaboration classroom.
I teach in a low-income, urban, Title I school. The population of the school is majority African Americans students. My students face a lot of challenges on an everyday basis, but it does not stop them from learning and being the best they can be. I enjoy teaching each and everyone of them. My students are sweet and wonderful kids who want to learn as much as they can. They will definitely put a smile on your face!
My Project
By purchasing this easel and magnetic letters will help my students but visualizing words and sounds. The students would be able to do hands-on activities using the easel and magnetic letters during instructional time. The students will use these materials on a daily basis. The students will establish a routine and procedure on how to use and what to use it for. This also will help me for when I do small groups instruction and for my students to connect on a visual aspect. These materials will be a great asset to our classroom to enhance our students’ learning.
