My Students

My students are active, creative, driven, and ready to conquer the road ahead. We are from a small town in Louisiana, where, like most, funds are limited. Our school is composed of only the fourth and fifth grades, with eighteen classrooms. Our students come to us from two different feeder schools in our area, giving us a very diverse student population. We serve a large population of military families and families from lower socioeconomic backgrounds.

My students are incredible and inspiring and will change the world one day!

They have goals, dreams, and aspirations for this school year. I know they can accomplish anything, but it is my hope to make sure they have all the resources needed to do that! This year, our goal is to unlock our potential, so that we may be the best we can be!

My Project

Unfortunately note taking is a necessary evil, and my students can't stand it. So in order to make note taking more fun and engaging for my students, I like to use colors and doodles. This has helped me keep my students' attention during the lesson.

These resources will help me make my lessons more engaging.

I'm hoping to use these resources to make note taking come alive.

With a completely scripted curriculum, I find it hard to add creativity to my lessons. This, in return, has led to some behavior issues. With these resources, I can make my lessons more exciting for my students which will help with the behavior issues,
