Our classroom is created with students of all learning spectrums. Some students may have learning disabilities making some learning challenging, others may be highly capable needing to be challenged above and beyond, some quiet, and some like Tigger.
What is so awesome about such a differentiated classroom is the community in which is established by caring, compassionate, and eager learners.
My students have incredible character traits, one to be kind to everyone, and two, to always try their best.
Being a teacher has been one of the most rewarding decisions I have ever made. I look forward to every day and how I can learn from each student and how I can send them home with an AHA! If there are ways to make learning more engaging and interesting, then I want to do it.
My Project
What's better than starting off the new year with brand new school supplies? How about colorful ones that bring pictures, math equations, and grammar coding to life. Our classroom dry erase markers are drying out, and our erasers have began to fall apart. Daily we use our dry erase supplies for whole group math. Having a few colors each helps students to break apart each step in a colorful and easy to follow way. I would love to surprise my class with new dry erase pens and crazy fun erasers. Also, as you know, crayons go dull and break after a while. So I am asking for small boxes for each student and a half class set of pencil/crayon sharpeners to aid the sudden breakage.
New year, new start, and brand new colorful supplies make learning much more fun and exciting!
