My Project

My students are a creative group who not only love to draw and create, they love reading about Art, especially art made by other kids. Reading stories about art encourages them to find their own unique style and take risks.

Art activities and other crafting projects expose them to different colors, textures, and fresh, new ideas.

Teachers Pay Teachers is an excellent resource for creative crafting projects, that often come with a financial cost. This recourse will allow me to choose from a plethora of creative projects on a regular basis, making art and creativity a staple in our classroom.

Color pencils are a great tool for drawing and developing fine motor skills. As they continue to create with these pencils, they will increase their dexterity and strengthen their handwriting. Keeping these tools sharp and ready to use with the help of a robust pencil sharpener is very important.
