Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are special education students with behavioral and emotional disabilities. They have big emotions and big hearts. The games and activities will help give a variety of ways to connect in class and to help them with their growth.
My classroom is often a safe space for my students, and I want to be able to help them connect with one another and create a community in my room.
The card games and activities I have chosen help kids open up in a fun way. The colorful baskets is where I will keep their games, sensory objects, pillows and helpful books.
