My Project

Help me give my students a comfortable place to sit and learn with the requested rug, snacks to enjoy, and effective calming tools to destress and self regulate.

I love giving them bright and colorful learning tools (neon clipboards, Mr. Sketch markers, carpet for learning and reading, card stock, mini notebooks, and sticky notes), resources (file folders to organize work and stay organized), and prizes to keep them inspired.

I have many low-income students (and grew up low income myself), so I recognize the difference it can make for students when they come into a space that is stocked with things they need as well as rewards for all their hard work. Colorful clipboards, calming tools, such as stress balls, snacks, and joyful items as rewards will contribute to their success. Basic items such as paperclips, expo markers, and file boxes will ad to their "stamp and file" area where they file their own work after it is checked. We have never had an official job chart before, and since every student takes pride in caring for their classroom and materials this will be a great addition to help us be more efficient. The TPT gift card will help us purchase lessons such writing prompts, fluency materials, and more to assist with differentiating their learning and have lots of resources to choose from. All of this combined will add to the confidence in my students by having what they need and a few things that they want. Thank you so much for your support for my wonderful students!
