Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My kinder students come from low-income families. Due to the coronavirus pandemic they are now learning virtually from home. My students love to learn and are extremely creative. Due to personal or family illnesses they will strictly be learning virtually for the rest of the school year.
My students this year are a combination of English and Spanish speakers.
Some of my students have never been to school, and this is their first time having a teacher, classmates and experiencing what learning in school is like.
My students were doing their best to overcome the constant worries of the coronavirus pandemic and many of their parents have lost jobs. My goal this year is to provide a welcoming, safe, loving, colorful and fun virtual classroom to help my students forget about their hardship and the inability to attend school in person.
My Project
The ink will be used to creative colorful materials for students to use in the classroom and at home. It is important for me to provide personalized activities that will engage and motivate my students to learn.
This ink will allow me to create differentiated activities and little readers for my students to use in class and at home.
I want to create activities that will capture my students’ attention and have them excited about learning. I will also use the ink to print little readers, student data, student growth charts and learning material to post around my classroom.
