Many of my students did not have headphones of their own, and they have greatly benefited from having access to them. The headphones have allowed them to stay focused while working on Amira and other reading activities, helping them build confidence and independence.\r\n\r\nSeveral of my students are especially enjoying the new books. In this manner their were able to associate the color of the book with the subject being focused on. \r\nAs their teacher, I knew at a glance if my students had the right book out. My students were so excited when they first saw the extra pencil sharpeners and dry erase magnets. One student even said, \"Now I don't lose my ideas waiting in line!\" That really stuck with me. With 24 kids, just having one sharpener used to slow us down a lot. Now, we're able to get our supplies ready quickly and jump right into learning without all the traffic jams and distractions.\r\n\r\nThe dry erase magnets have been a huge hit, too! We've started using them on our classroom data wall to track our goals and celebrate progress. Each student has their own magnet, and when they meet a goal in reading, math, they get to move it. The first time we used them, the room was full of excitement and proud smiles. It's been such a fun and motivating way for students to take ownership of their learning.\r\n\r\nOur next big focus is growing on the MAP test and getting ready for fourth grade. We've been working hard on reviewing key skills and setting personal growth goals so each student can show how much they've learned this year. The magnets are helping us track that progress and keep us motivated along the way. We're having great conversations about how to push ourselves, stay focused, and be proud of every bit of growth. These tools are helping build the confidence and independence they'll need to take that next big step—and I couldn't be more proud of them!","fullyFundedDate":1742924837005,"projectUrl":"project/sharpening-success-tools-for-seamless-t/9179237/","projectTitle":"Sharpening Success: Tools for Seamless Transitions","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Kelly","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9970914_orig.jpg?crop=1946,1947,x0,y246&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753128420305","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9970914"},{"teacherId":7288909,"projectId":8551132,"letterContent":"Reviving this incentive system has had a profound impact on my students, transforming the classroom into a more engaging and motivating space.
