My Project
Using colored ink can be a powerful strategy for increasing engagement and helping students focus. Color-coding assignments, using labels or notes with different colors can highlight key concepts, differentiate types of tasks, or visually organize information in a way that makes it more accessible and less overwhelming. For students who struggle with attention or sensory processing, using colored ink can break up monotonous text and create a more inviting, visually stimulating environment. Additionally, colored ink can be used to reinforce positive behavior or mark areas of strength in a student's work, which can boost motivation and self-esteem. It also aids in differentiating instruction, which can be crucial for students who may need modified materials or support to access the content.
These supplies will help create a space where students can thrive academically.
The colored ink will provide a multi-sensory, and supportive environment that addresses the cognitive needs of students in a self-contained classroom. The laminating machine and supplies will be used to protect flash cards and assignment cards. The label maker and labels will be used to create a print rich environment as well as help students' identify their resources and materials.
