Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have thirty-two amazing students. They love Minecraft, coding, robotics, and their iPads. They amaze me every day with their technical abilities. Greenscreening, LEGO stop motion movies or Garageband, it doesn't matter, my students are always up for a new challenge. We are surrounded by agriculture and my students want more than that.
"If you build it, they will come." (Field of Dreams).
That is what I am trying to do for my students. I have never met a group of children who are more accepting of the differences of others and it is truly amazing to spend my days learning with them. They come to school every day excited to learn, explore, and create the content being taught in my classroom. My classroom is about building skills to get included. Coding and robotics are part of the future and present. I want to give them a chance at both. They deserve it and they want it.
My Project
These supplies help provide my students with the resources that they will need to be successful and take notes everyday to support their learning needs. These supplies help with every student and every subject. My class loves to take concepts, make and create ideas and turn those concepts into fun projects. These classroom basic supplies would go a long way in helping us! We will use the notebooks to write, solve, and draw information to show learning. The notebooks are for homework and writing. Basic supplies, like crayons, are important for the day to day function in my classroom. Thank you in advance for your support.
