The EV3 lets students build a robot and program it to perform a variety of functions. Students can control the robot via remote control, computer or smart phone interface lego mindstorms robots. This kits provides students with endless ideas they can try and lots of websites devoted to programming the various Mindstorms models that they can study on their own time. I want to offer my students their first experiece in building and coding a robot to spark that disire to become the next great inventor or programmer. The EV3 demonstrates practical implementation of computer programming and helps build students' engineering skills. My students will finally get a taste of what the future has to offer.
