Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My middle school students are incredibly creative and love to show what they know. Instead of boring notes and tests, my students love to create projects like timelines, posters, and comic books to show what they have learned in class. These projects allow all students to express themselves and show that they have mastered the content taught in class. This project-based class is a wonderful way for all of my kids, no matter their ability level, to dive into the content presented in class. This allows all students to be successful.
To continue to do these projects, we need to replenish our supplies like glue sticks and markers that get used the most each year.
My students love creating these projects and sharing their knowledge with their classmates. Thanks for your consideration.
