My Students
My students are from a low socio-economic background and have limited resources to use both in and out school. At the same time, my class is full of eager learners who enjoy experiencing new opportunities and using new technology in order to learn. Our school resources are limited and we are not provided with all necessary material at all times because of budget constraints. These students are deserving of extra materials that are not provided by the school. Many of the materials and supplies needed for the classroom and students are bought by us, the teachers. Many of my students try very hard and are committed to their education; by donating to their cause it would help them to be successful learners.
My Project
I have a working printer in my classroom; however, we go through paper and ink cartridges very quickly. The last few ink cartridges and cases of paper I have used my own money to purchase. It is getting very costly to me, but I want my students to have colored copies and be able to print what they need.
I often print leveled books for children to read and center activities and they love it so much more then black and white copies.
Your donation will give my students these needed resources to keep our classroom running smoothly and effectively.
