This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having a color printer in our classroom will help students create innovative designs for their STEM projects. As of now, we only have a black and white printer and it is difficult for the students to envision their projects coming to life.
We will focus on engineering items out of upcycled materials and with a color printer, we can create images of our prototypes.
These images will help students become more confident in their designs and help motivate them to keep working!
My students are some of the most kind-hearted kids I've ever met. They are from a Title I school district and we are constantly working to get them the best of everything!
