For many of my low income students, the library is the only place where they have books. And one of the best ways for them to learn is by reading! It is exciting to see them engaged in a book and become excited about reading.
They are constantly looking for new books and other ways to expand their horizons.
I can't wait to see what new adventures will come about with the supplies we will receive this year! Thank you!
Students will be able to print projects and assignments in color. Daily, our students complete their assignments in the library. This will give students the opportunity to make their assignments pop and give piazza to their work. For example, if they are printing charts of graphs for an assignment, the colors will be helpful to give their work a more professional look.
I will also be able to print out reading certificates for our students who achieve milestones in reading!
Acknowledging our students is one way to instill a habit of reading and encourage them to continue this habit even after they leave our school. We have reading challenges and other activities throughout the year to get students excited about reading!
