My Project

My kindergarteners love anything bright and colorful. Anytime you add color to something it increases student buy-in and excitement for whatever we're doing.

This project is very simple: we are asking for new acrylic paints and paint brushes.

One of our biggest projects is an ABC handprint book that the kids will make. Each page has a student's handprint that they then turn into something that begins with that letter (i.e. B is for butterfly, S is for strawberry). They love making this book and because it begins with their own handprint it becomes personal right off the bat! We add the writing to it and they are so proud! This is just one of the things we will use this paint for, but it's a biggie!

We are simply asking for our paint supply to be replenished (26 letters for 20 kids is a lot of paint!), as well as adding a few fun colors and replacing old paint brushes. Kids can be hard on those! Thank you so much for supporting our class!
