Color Makes STEM Become STEM in Engineering Class

Help me give my students paint markers to paint their engineering projects and red pencils to check their work.

My Project

My engineering class needs some colored acrylic paint pens to colorize their 3D printed and laser cut projects. Both our laser engraver and our 3D printers only create in one color. Acrylic paint sticks well to the materials we use for both but is an absolute mess to use in an engineering classroom with no running water. Paint pens work really well for this as we can capture details too and don't make a mess.

Being able to finish their projects by painting them gives projects a polished professional look that really excites my students and gives them an even greater sense of pride in their completed projects.

In addition we asked for some red pencils so we can grade each others work and be able to read the additional comments we leave for each other.
