This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Science is our daily lives and my students need to develop their inquiring minds through inquiry based learning.
My students are energetic learners that yearn to master grade level standards but struggle with learning the English language.
Many students have special needs, and require hands-on approaches to learning. They are all bright and talented in different ways, but many lack the science and math skills necessary to succeed. Unfortunately my class deals with challenges in their personal lives, but that just makes me strive to make their school experience the best it can be.
My Project
These resources will be used for research within their learning groups to inquire about many different subjects but especially used during Science inquiry. Newton's cradle will be used to explore the subject of energy and to launch our unit of inquiry on Natural Order, specifically how Scientific systems display natural order in our world.
Furthermore, my students will be able to use these laptops and the iPad to create documents, short movies and presentations in other academic areas to share their learning with their peers.
