This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I have requested will help me to provide comprehensive services to my students who are planning for college and careers. I work with all grade levels and plan many activities throughout the school year which include college visits, workshops to assist with college applications, essays, and financial aid, and guest speakers from various colleges, trades, and career paths.

The items I have requested(TV and whiteboard) will assist me in providing the students with the most up-to-date information they require to plan for upcoming activities and also to learn about a career or college they may be interested in.

I work in an underprivileged and urban school district. Most of the students would like to dream big but don’t know where to begin that’s where my department comes in. Help me to help them make their dreams a reality! Thank you.
