Collaborative Technology Projects

My students need supplies to work on the long term technology products by using tape for robotics and charging stations for their technology. Organization and collaboration are key!

My Students

Teaching Computer Science can be a challenge. My students are excited to learn the latest technologies and want to 'change the world'. In order to learn how to do that they need to 'see' their work as soon as possible so they can design and redesign, just like the real world.

They know that pursuing a CS degree will give them many options, a creative outlet and a means to make a real difference.

Students come to my classroom and stay for 3 or 4 years. Many work in the field before going to college.

My Project

Students in my classroom work is project based. We combine computer science with real world models using robotics, apps and game development. The items requested will help us organize, build and test our technology projects just as engineers do in the real world.

Creating real 'things' by problem solving is key to my students learning.

Students will develop higher level thinking skills and enjoy the process at the same time. They will be proud of their accomplishments as their projects become more and more useful. It is exciting to see what the students create as they work towards their goals. .
